Hello, and welcome! I'm Ari, a 33-year-old programmer, aspiring artist, and woodworking enthusiast. This site is essentially my playground for whatever new coding adventures I want to begin, and thus is ever-changing and usually a work in progress.

Most recently, I worked at Multiply (an Answers Corporation). There I was on many teams, and worked with a variety of tools and languages. I helped build and manage three different content management systems, largely using Laravel, PHP, and React.js. In 2017, I was the lead dev on a customer facing product designed to let influencers share content, and provide analytics on the monetary returns of that shared content. On the ad tech team, I worked used Google Tag Manager and Prebid.js to maintain and improve our ad platform, and implemented Quantcast's GDPR script for our sites. On our WordPress site team, I worked on the custom theme for domino.com, creating widgets, endpoints, etc.

I previously worked for O'Reilly School of Technology, where I taught PHP, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, and Web App Security, as well as occasionally assisted the Course Development Team with writing, editing, and updating courses.

I am familiar with Git, NPM, Gulp, Webpack, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, PHP, Laravel, and Ruby on Rails. My Python, Java, and C++ are rusty but existent.
